September 29 – Chicago
October 1, 2007
Hopped on an open top bus and took in the sites of Chicago. What a great city, very picturesque. The architecture of the skyscrapers very diverse and interesting. Can see the new trump hotel from my side of the river, the one that the winner of the first Apprentice was given to manage, some serious prime real estate.
Had another walk down Michigan Ave, a little scared to go too far, this is one place not to get lost. Hopped off the bus at the Field Museum of Natural History they have the largest complete skeleton of a T-REX
Took another stroll, still feeling completely exhausted then back to the hotel, pre-registration for the conference starts tomorrow.

Managed to sleep for 6 hours, am exhausted. Walked up and down Michigan Ave in a daze looking for gifts to buy the family. Back to the hotel did some work on the PSL intranet site, fell into bed hope to feel better tomorrow.
September 27 – Chicago

Arrived tonight at 8pm (Chicago local time). 24 hours of travel leaving me rather tired and disheveled. Queued at the airport for 40 minutes to get a cab, I really was not feeling too hot. Glad to have a couple of days before the conference to recover as concentration is lacking, somewhat. I am staying at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, Fantastic views of the downtown area.
